Now imagine a Red G20 Chevy Cargo Van coming up behind and keeping up with you.... Back when I was just 18 I got into a race with some motorcycles while on the Tail of the Dragon, I just didn't know until I pulled over to cool the tires down that the guys behind me said "I can't believe a freaking Full Sized CARGO VAN just left us like that" They were convinced it was a Vette with a fake van body on top as they could not see how I was able to go so fast... but then again, it wasn't just any old van... it was THE VAN! (and I was a highly skilled driver)

Thanks for the memories from the Mid '90's. Heard about Deal's Gap at a BMW rally in Mississippi so had to go and ride it on my '95 BMW R11RGS. Wow! After getting to one end, turned around and did it the other way also. Probably about 3 trips up there just to ride it but all in my BMW days cept for once on my 2000 Kawa KLR 650.

Yeah, I was up there a couple of weeks ago in my '22 Mustang Mach1 and it was great. Even on new Cup2 tires it was not as grippy as I would have expected. Still amazing and a fun time though!

Good thing there wasn’t any grass clibbins! Aside from the one area it was absolutely fantastic when I brought the Ute up, a little slick as new pavement is but was a dream to drive. They’ll fix the few issues and it’ll be good to go!

I need to get back over there again.. Haven't run the Dragon since the re-pave. I saw couple of vids where some of the new asphalt was coming up already in a section or 2. I don't recall where it was.. I'm sure you've seen this vid though. It was making the rounds pretty heavy.

Way he leaned off the bike. Hang off the bike more than it leans, way over his head. You’ll are morons riding on a public road this aggressive. Most are good riders. Except the dude who crashed and the guy who takes every corner with his foot off the pegs. But you’re asking for it on a public road riding like this.

I just received mine. I've used 4th AXIS holders before, but this is truly a beauty! Incredible built quality. I would love an alternate mount to the suction cup. I have scenarios where I just need to mount with a clamp as the surface isn't adequate for a suction cup.

is the Repave complete I'm coming up from Toronto this weekend and had no clue it was being repaved! lol I can always rebook my hotel for July or September

It probably won't beat the old asphalt that was light in color and had the glass-looking "sparkles". That stuff was like glue.
